When I first started this blog, I intended it to be a resource for my Orthodox Christian friends (or anyone else) looking for recipes to use during the four main fasting periods, and countless other fasting days throughout the year. But, well, the blog took on a life of its own. Presently, here is what you can expect to find while visiting:
1. Lots and lots and lots of vegan recipes
2. Reviews of vegan meals at local restaurants (and sometimes places afar, when I travel), and vegan store-bought items
3. Stuff related to Orthodox Christianity, especially during Great Lent or on a major feast day
4. Snail Mail
5. Travel updates, when I have the means to travel
About those recipes. I’m afraid I don’t care much for measurements, so I hope you like to experiment! I do use regular old recipes sometimes, though.
Also. I’m never satisfied with this About page and I update it pretty regularly. Keep checking back here if you want to learn more “About” me because chances are, you will see something new eventually.
If you like what you see, please “Like” OhSheCooks.com on facebook! I post random little updates, share recipes from other blogs, and whatever other vegan-related things that are of interest to me (and hopefully to you). I’m also on Pinterest.
If you have any questions or special requests, please feel free to email me at OhSheCooks@gmail.com and I’ll see what I can do. Happy cooking!
